Eggheads in Fort Bragg

This restaurant is the one I like best. I go to a lot of restaurants but here I go the most. The team is very receptive and the food they cook is so flavorful. I never decline to have a nice meal here. Highly recommended.

This was the perfect spot for breakfast. Stellar service and left pleasantly full. We had the Cowardly Lion and Glindas Crab and Garlic Omlette. Omg, yum on both accounts.

Decent breakfast. Ordered "Flying Monkey Potatoes" with eggs over medium. The potatoes tasted like they were boiled yesterday, refrigerated, then warmed, but not toasted or well-fried. The eggs were over-cooked and brown on the bottom. Never a good sign for a breakfast-specialty restaurant named for eggs.None the less it was decent, but nothing to rave about. Being a restaurantuer must be like being a movie star- you're only as good as your last movie or your last meal This is the second disappointing meal here for me, I'm bummed I like the staff and owner but I do expect more considering the price.

Pretty good food and great service. The not-hash corn beef was delicious. The Benedict eggs are special, with a home made sauce.

The omelettes are the best. Very unique taste to the eggs. I would come here again.

Tried the ‘favorite’ breakfast place after a long wait... waitress was sweet. Food was... decent. Potatoes were fine, though I prefer crispy pieces. I had a good omelette. Nothing to write home about. Mom had biscuits and gravy and was let down. Gravy was very starchy and plain, and simply poured over a whole biscuit which was sliced but not left open to absorb more gravy. I’m always amazed at how much breakfasts cost when it’s really some of the simplest of meals with really basic ingredients. We were a bit let down, to be honest.

Definitely the best breakfast we came across in town and probably the best food period. Highly recommended.

Great breakfast. Wait was long due to limited seating. After ordering it seemed to again take a while. Soda is by the can (can get expensive if you want more than one). Food was good though. Ambiance was nice.

Had a delicious breakfast here. The place is small and cozy, plenty of options on the menu and the staff is lovely. It can get a little crowded so opt for an early breakfast!

Good eating pricey but really good food and service.

Cute little place. They use disposable bamboo plates which I like. But they put lime in their hollandaise sauce and deep fried their bacon which I did not like. The waitresses are friendly and the trip to the restroom was an adventure.

Excellent breakfast at this cute wizard of Oz themed restaurant. Simple delicious food that fills you up. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend the raisin bread!

A Nice little restaurant in Fort Bragg.Ca. It has a wizard of oz theme you even walk the yellow brick road to the restrooms. Eggheads is very popular with the tourists and because it is a smaller restaurant, there can be a waiting list. They do have pagers so you can explore a little while waiting. Try the monkey potatoes. Not open for dinner.

Absolutely delicious! Hands down the best breakfast I've ever eaten!

Quite flavorful but a bit of an embarrassment to breakfast burritos. I suppose this is meant to be eaten as a wet burrito but perhaps it would be good to let people know they can’t eat this with their hands if they order it dry. And the menu doesn’t mention it’s a wet burrito, I had to ask for it dry only after seeing photos online.

Staff was super friendly, attentive without being intrusive. Good was great, real actual food. Will definitely be going there as often as I can 😊

I loved my food, great service they were really nice and super friendly. Even my picky 7 year old daughter ate all her food. I can't wait to go back to Fort bragg and eat here again!!

Been coming here every time we take our yearly excursion to Fort Bragg. Service is always excellent and food is great! They are doing their best to be environmentally conscious as well.An absolute gem of Fort Bragg

Cute decor, amazing crab omelette!

We found this place by chance, the reviews gave us confidence that it would be worth trying. I wish i could give it ten stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 From the clean decor and super friendly staff, the adorable menu with lots of delicious options, the food was EGGcellent 🤣 Excellent no pun intended. We have been coming to Fort Bragg for years and never found this place until now. We will definitely be back. They close at 2:00 just FYI.

Great place for breakfast. There is usually a wait but make sure to put your name down because the wait is worth it. The cheese is home made and so the Hollandaise sauce. My food was delicious. The coffee is good too. Server most pleasant.

This place was cool! And the staff definitely provided some of the best customer service I have had!👍 The place has a Wizard of Oz theme and the food is excellent. Like every other restaurant in Fort Bragg the food is pricier than normal but that is to be expected in tourist destinations. This place was very good and we will be eating there again on our trip before we leave.

I reviewed this place, 2 years ago, with a negative review. Sometimes things change, and you have to give a second chance. Glad we did. Great meal!The decor inside is super cute! Wizard of Oz themed, with cute Nick nacks, and a stellar mural. A delight to the eyes! I just loved it!This was a cheat meal for us. We normally eat very low carb, no sugar. So when we have a cheat, we try to make it count. I ordered biscuits and gravy. Came with eggs and potatoes. Everything was great. Gravy was a bit bland. A bit of salt and pepper, and yum. Added a side of sausage patties. Yum!Hubby got the eggs benedict. We ended up splitting our meals, and having half and half. Now, the last time we came (2 years ago) the eggs benedict is why we didn't return. They were overly lemony. But, we decided to try it again. Much better! I absolutely loved it! Not too lemony at all. Delish!Our server was super nice, and made small talk. Glad we took the time to stop in again. Definitely a better experience.

We had a lunch at Egghead's and found the food and the service top class. The Wizard of Oz themed menu is fun and the owner was super friendly to my two young grandsons, even bringing them a train and car to play with while we waited for our food. My Garlic Chicken Burrito was incredible and my daughter loved her breakfast Burrito. Great place!

We come to Fort Bragg every year and Egghead’s is our favorite spot for breakfast! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The food has always been amazing and friendly service. Dorothy’s Revenge and their Cinnamon Raisin Toast is the BEST

The number 2 (crab and avocado omelette) was the most incredible omelette I have ever eaten! 🤤💓 The crab was cooked so perfectly and the freshest flavor, my goodness!! Thanks y'all, I'll be back!

Wonderful breakfast! Crab, bacon, avocado and Jack cheese omelet with a Mango smoothie. Everything was wonderful!

The service was great and the food was even better! Our 5 year old is extremely picky. While eating, he stopped to say, "I give this place 100 stickers". I guess that's his version of 5 stars 😂🙌 Thank you Eggheads staff!

Amazing food good staff

Ridiculous. Worth the wait and the money. I can die happy. Born and raised here, it's still the best holly sauce I've ever tasted. Great thick cut ham and crispy english muffin with tasty country potatoes. Excellent service as well.

The best small diner I've ever eaten at. The food is amazing and tastes REAL, and made with real quality ingredients. Their waffles are phenomenal and everything is homemade. Its delicious. They also have the greatest Chai lattes known to man. The staff are incredible and really make it feel like home. Eating at a small, family diner like this is an amazing experience and I would eat here every day for the rest of my life if I could. It feels like we're family too. The decor is adorable and the entire place feels cozy and whimsical. The menus and everything else are Wizard of Oz themed. It's a teeny-tiny little place, but worth every moment spent there.

Great place to grab breakfast. The omelettes and any egg dishes are definitely 5 star. The prices where a little high for breakfast but the food quality is definitely worth the price. The only reason I'm not rating plays five stars is the size of the restaurant. It's a really small place so expect for a wait if you go on a weekend.

Must try the Pumpkin pancakes! Great place for a brunch or lunch. Do try their house potatoes. So good! The vegetable crepe is amazing as well! Service is great. Friendly waiters. The beef sandwich was okay. Even the coffee wasn’t that great, it wasn’t hot enough. However the fresh orange juice was perfect! Come here for a leisurely lunch while strolling in Fort Bragg. Prices are in the middle range.

Overall, Egghead’s was a great experience. The food was great, but the service was even more impressive. The restaurant is small so there will be a wait, however the meal will be worth it.

If you want to fully enjoy the experience here, be prepared to be patient because it will take a minute to get your food. I had clam chowder soup, Glinda’s crab and garlic omelette, and corned beef not hash. We ordered the corned beef because the table next to us recommended it. Everything was delicious. Friendly service as well.
